He was predeceased by: his parents, William David Durrett Sr. and Ruby Wilson Durrett; and his siblings, Juanita Faircloth, William David Durrett Jr., Bettye Broussard and James William "J. W." Durrett.
He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Ulmer (Melvin) of Magee, MS and Dwight Durrett (Teresa) of Hornbeck, LA; and his siblings-in-law, Leroy Broussard of Jennings, LA and Eula Durrett of Hornbeck, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
