She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Wayne Mitchell, Sr. and Voorhies Mitchell; and her brother Gary Wayne Mitchell. She is survived by: her family, Skylynn and Taylor; her brother Jerry Mitchell, Jr. (Cindy) of Hornbeck, LA; her nieces, Cynthia Diane (Stephen Moore) of Hornbeck, LA and Betty Voorhies (Tyler Alleman) of Gonzales, LA; her great-nieces, Skylynn Faith Welch and Taylor Grace Welch of Hornbeck, LA; her great-nephew Luke Moore of Hornbeck, LA; her stepchildren, Sarah Wyatt (Kevin) of Alexandria, LA and Trent Watson of Lafayette, LA; her stepgrandchildren, McKenzie, Carter and Ethan; and her close friends, Cynthia Rogers, Sheryl Dowden and Latasha Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the New Life Crisis Pregnancy Center, P.O. Box 1448, New Llano, LA 71461 in memory of Diane Watson.
