He was predeceased by: his family, Aaron Keith and Erica; his parents, Lenward Sr. Seals and Mattie Seals; his wife Lillie Mae Seals; his son James Dunn; his wife Cathy Delois Seals; and his brothers, John Seals and Baby Seals.
He is survived by: his uncle Napoleon Battle; his children, Aaron, Shreveport, Cheryl Seals, Lenward Seals, III (Raquel), Xanthe Seals Mann (Kenneth), A. Keith Cornelius (Michelle), Roderick Seals and Erica Seals; his godsons, Gregory Hunt and Jeffrey Hunt (Evelyn); his grandchildren, Harrison Brennan, Emerson Brook Seals, Iyana Marcel, Decortez Smith, Armani Howard, Kennedi Mann, Greylen, Grider Fishburn, Demarcus Watts, Ryan Cooper, Kristian Cooper, Aarion Lewis, Keira Cornelius, Dekevious Moore, Joslyn Bradford and LaKesha Bowden (Marcus); his siblings-in-law, Linda K. Hardaway (Thomas), Mary Sue White, Carolyn Gantt, Linda Faye Cornelius, Betty Dunn, Willie Dunn, Jerry Dunn, Sr. (Annette) and Ronnie Harris; and also Betty Dunn. He is also survived by other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family.
