He was predeceased by: his parents, James Eugen Bruner and Doris Lester Bruner; his sister Janet Rae Davison (Robert Davison); and his daughter Rachael Ann Bruner. He is survived by: his children, Kimberly, Frankie Smith and Jim Bruner; his adoptive son Ricky Reid (Amber); his grandchildren, Chelsey, Jacob Cole, Caleb, Brittany Smith, Courtney, Omar Hernandez, Christian Dumas, Aleizia Dumas, Brantley Reid and Bentlee Reid; his siblings, Kenneth Bruner, Bill (Mona Bruner) and Judy (David Carubba); and also, Brantley and Bentlee.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home (2300 W California Ave, Ruston, LA 71270). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Owens Memorial Chapel (2300 W California Ave, Ruston, LA 71270).
