He was predeceased by: his wife Eugenia Grace Zappa; his parents, Curtis Lyman and Ella Mae Zappa; and his brothers, James Zappa and John Zappa.
He is survived by: his son Christopher Wade Maness of Athens; his grandchildren, Christopher Wade Maness II (Faith), Maegan Maness, Lauren Maness, Katelin Payne (Matthew) and McKenzie Easterling (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Ashley, Tessa, Trace, Graham, Emilia, Parker, Greyson and Aiden; and his sisters, Sherline Carver of Athens, Louisiana and Elizabeth Haynes of Athens, Louisiana. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the First Presbyterian Church of Athens or the Salem Memorial Cemetery (P.O. Box 152, Athens, LA) may be made in memory of Finnis Lyman Zappa.
