She was predeceased by: her parents, Chance C. Tarpley and Mattie Acklen Tarpley; her husband Ted Lewis; and her siblings, Jean Hutchins, Charles Tarpley and Jerry Tarpley.
She is survived by: her sisters, Shirley Musgrove of Homer, LA and Carolyn Akin of Haynesville, LA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers honoring Elouise, her family suggests memorials be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 1993 Hwy 3062, Homer, LA 71040.
