She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence E. Sr. Lee and Margaret Lorelle Lee; her brothers, Randal Lee and Bubba Lee; and her siblings-in-law, Susan Lee (McDonald) and Thomas Mitchell (Some).

She is survived by: her husband Ben; her daughters, Alicia Childre-Callaway (James) and Wendy Childre (Samuel); her sister Margie Mitchell (Lee); and her brother-in-law George Childre (Faye). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a community of friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has has asked loved ones to make donations to St. Jude Cancer Center.
