She was predeceased by: her daughter Denise Ann Whittington; her parents, Marvin Harp and Aletha Darden Harp; her brother Noel Harp; and her granddaughter Carrie Ann Whittington.

She is survived by: her sons, Ralph Emile Whittington (Jettie) and Rodney Alan Whittington; her siblings, James Harp Sr., Ted Harp Sr. (Christel) and Dorothy Cox (Randy); her grandchildren, Rodney Whittington Jr. (Mandy), Brooke Whittington, Misty Whittington Newton (Rob), Grace Whittington Hatfield (Michael), Mikel Whittington, Trestin Slack (Jared) and Chase Whittington (Kaila); and her great grandchildren, Derrell Thomas III, Carrie Thomas Moore (Donald), Dillon Silverthorne, Will, Sam Newton, Kirsten Prewitt, Bently, Bren and Cameron Whittington. She is also survived by 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
