He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Ernest Methvien and Amanda Hoyt Methvien; his wife Cora Ann McCarroll Methvien; and his brother Little Ernest Methvien. He is survived by: his children, Mandy Cowart (Ronnie), Aaron Methvien, James Methvien (Stephanie) and Roy Methvien (Brenda); and his siblings, Charles Methvien, Wayne Methvien (Sharon), Grace Eldridge, Plummie Gauthreaux (Joe), Gloria Schilling, Maggie Watts, Velma White, Georgie Baxter (George) and Ouida Nugent. He is also survived by seven Grandchildren, nine Great Grandchildren, and one Great Great Grandchild.
