She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred J. Pierson; her children, A. J, Allen and Diann Pierson; her siblings, J. C. "Billy" Tompley and Mary Katherine Villar; and her great great grandchild Hunter Pierson.
She is survived by: her children, Loretta Thompson (Glenn) and Jackie Pierson (Murline); and her sister Audrey DeLaCerda. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
