She was predeceased by: her mother Vera "Jeanie" Collins; and her brother Robert "Bobby" Merriman. She is survived by: her husband Vernon Dean of Holden; her daughters, Christy Ardoin of Lake Charles and Sherri Jeansonne of Albany; her father Jim Collins of Holden; her siblings, Teri Arvello, Janna Arledge, Jimmy Collins, George Merriman and Johnny Merriman of Indiana; and her nephew Geza Ray Kovach, Jr.. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
