She was predeceased by: her husband Lawson D. Hoyt; her children, Wallace Daniel Hoyt, Johnny E. Hoyt and Rosemary Hoyt Ballard; her parents, Willie Smith and Virgie Smith; and her siblings, Lucille Oliphant, Monroe Smith and Louis C. Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Ann Dennis, Willie C. Hoyt (Edna) and Michael Hoyt (Leona); and her sister Thelma Watts. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
