She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley J. McAlister and Addie O. Sibley; her daughter Linda Morgan; the father of her children John A. Morgan; and her siblings, Teresa Durr, Pansy Joy Marler, Juanita Thompson, Wiley "Buddy", Douglas, Ted, Mike, Keith McAlister, Joseph Lupo and Houston "Hutch" Hutchinson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carrie Morgan, Stephanie Morgan and Patty Redmond (Neal); her grandchildren, Brandon Morgan, Neal Redmond Jr. (Holly), Shelby Martin (Trevor), Janice E. Morgan and William T. Morgan; her great grandchildren, Shelby Morgan, Dixie Ashworth, Mackenzie, Nealy and Faith Redmond; and her siblings, Charlene Walton, Donald McAlister (Sandy) and Patrick McAlister (Evelyn).
