It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Carter Wagner Bankston of Holden, Louisiana, born in Albany, Louisiana, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Carlton Bankston; her parents, Gordan Wagner and Majorie Jelks Wagner; and her siblings, Rita Wagner Mathews and Andrew David Wagner.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven Ray Bankston (Kymberly) of Birmingham and Stuart Lyle Bankston (Rebecca) of Holden; her grandchildren, Barnes Ray Bankston (Michaela), Carter Bankston, Christopher Bankston, Myia Bozeman (Derrick), Tyler Bankston (Lien), McKenzie Salinas (Sean), Gauge Bankston and Kati-Grace Bankston; her great grandchildren, Liam Bankston, Alizabeth Bozeman and Neveah Salinas; and her siblings, Charlotte McKnight, Joan Faust, Phyllis Brooks and William "Bud" Wagner (Linda). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
