He was predeceased by: his daughter Lisa Gayle Childress; his parents, Louise Shrader and Andrew Shrader Sr.; and his brother Harold Emory Shrader. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Nagy Shrader; and his children, Andrew "Cliff" Shrader III (Kay), Christopher Shrader (Kristy), Fran Guerin (Andre) and Erin Allain. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holden Baptist Church (30091 LA-441, Holden, LA 70744). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
