He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine Hathaway Gaines. He is survived by: his son Eddie (Wendy) of Weston; his grandchildren, Melissa Borland, Amy Middleton, Katie Blish and Blake Gaines; and his siblings, Betty Rogers and Billy Gaines (Nita).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hodge United Methodist Church or Louisiana Methodist Children's Home.
