He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Wesley Griffin, Sr. and Nettie Viola Butler; his wife Elaine Griffin; and his former wife Debbie Griffin. He is survived by: his children, Rickey Pelt of Hineston, Belinda Lucy Clark (Allan) of Elmer and Penny Clark (Sam) of Elmer; his siblings, Rodney Griffin of Pineville, John Griffin of Pineville, Becky DeVore of Texas, Jennifer Beaudin of Texas, John Smith of Leander and Wilma Gene Smith of Leander; and his grandchildren, Ricky D. Pelt (Crystal) of Leesville, Andrew Cody Pelt (Megan) of Hineston, Kayla Kinnabrew (John) of Shreveport, Courtney Pelt of Leesville, Sloan Clark of Elmer, Jasmine Pelt of Hineston, Tabitha Clark of Elmer and Sean Clark of Elmer. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
