He was predeceased by: his brother Dalphard LaCaze; and his grandson Benjamin. He is survived by: his child Pawpaw; his wife Margaret; his sister Shaunda Tafel of Hudson, FL; his children, Donnis LaCaze Poe (Paul), Daniel LaCaze and Linda LaCaze Smith; his grandchildren, Deshae LaCaze Goins (Ross), Amy Poe Florendo (Cam), Courtney LaCaze McKee (Brandon), Jaclyn Poe Bailes (Richard) and Caleb LaCaze (Jessika); his great grandchildren, Gabe Sumner (Colleen), Brooklynn Sumner, Addison Bailes, Stella Florendo, Heidi Bailes, Goins II, Coleman Florendo, Hayden Gordy, Brody McKee, Ruby Bailes, Max McKee and Cannon LaCaze; and his great great grandchild Cade Sumner. He is also survived by his grandchildren, the legacy he leaves will endure for many generations and he will forever be cherished in the lives of his family and friends.
