He was predeceased by: his parent Earl Elam. He is survived by: his parent Lizzie Elam (Watson); his wife Diana Elam; his son Nathan Earl Elam (Tela); his grandchild Cassidy Elam; and his siblings, Billy Joe Elam (Ann), Patricia Hayden and Norman Doyle Elam.
