The memory of Roberta B. Descant of Hessmer, Louisiana, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her former husband Curtis Walker; her husband Earl Descant, Sr.; and her parents, Wilfred Bordelon and Blanche Guillot Bordelon. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Petch (Joey) of Fifth Ward, Curnis Walker (Lynn Lemoine) of Mansura and Ted Walker (Linda) of Marksville; her stepchildren, Sean Descant, Shane Descant, Shannon Descant, Nicole Descant, Marcus Descant and Earl Descant, Jr.; and her grandson Jake Walker. She is also survived by son, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
