He was predeceased by: his daughter Michelle Lacombe; his parents, Ulysse Courquet and Alice Thomasie Courquet; and his siblings, Evelyn Bourgeois, Mary Russell, George Courquet, Frank Courquet and Charles Courquet.
He is survived by: his wife May Dell Vallot Courquet; his daughters, Missie Kelone (Tony) and Evie Kelone (Brian); his sisters, Mary Ann Henderson, Mary Alice Courquet and Virginia Marie Bryan; and his grandchildren, Brandie, Paul, Katie, Mekel, Carli, Blake, Jared, Rachel and Shanna. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
