She is survived by: her children, Wayne Descant (Millie) of Grand Isle, Eric Descant (Karen) of Hessmer, Tommy Descant (Missy) of LaRose, Julie Milazzo (Maurice) of Plaquemine and Tammy Rhodes (Christopher) of Houma; her son-in-law Philip Cavell of Houma; and her siblings, Ida Gaspard, Marion Bordelon (Scottie), Victoria Armand (Keith), Delaine Rattan (Richard) and Kenneth Jeansonne (Debbie). She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 6 step great grandchild and 15 step great great grandchildren.
