He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Laborde; his daughter Carol Laprairie; his great grandchild Layla Simon; his parents, Rimes, Sr. Laborde and Marence Laborde (Mills); and his siblings, Joyce St. Romain, Donald Laborde, Hilburn Laborde, Harvey Laborde, Theresa Laborde, Betty Laborde and Marie Laborde.
He is survived by: his children, Vincent Laborde (Bonny) of Mansura, Keith Laborde of Bunkie, Wanda Laborde (John) of Mansura and Hali Laborde; and his siblings, Howard Laborde of Mansura, Rimes Laborde, Jr. of Westwego, Dorothy Jeansonne of Poland, Patsy Wells of Mena Arkansas, Beryl Dauzat of Brouillette, Clara Juneau of Hessmer, Steve Laborde of Hessmer and Malcolm Laborde of Waggaman. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
