She was predeceased by: her husband Willard Smith; her son Mark R. Deville, Sr.; her parents, Teddy Johnson and Viola Harmanson Johnson; and her stepdaughters, Pat Smith and Elaine Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Deville (Tommy) of Marksville and Sheila Smith of Marksville; her stepdaughters, Marietta LaPrairie (Leon) of Deville and Angie Smith of Deville; her siblings, Rodney Johnson (Dorris) of Pineville, Edith Smith of Center Point, Theresa Johnson of Marksville and Carolyn Wiley (Rusty) of Deville; her grandchildren, Jessica, Dakota, Mark, Jonathon and Kayla; her great grandchildren, Arlo, Zack, Danei, Emma, Debra, William, Kennedy, Allison and Aiden; and her close friend John Gooch.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home (445 E Bontempt St, Marksville, LA 71351). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Smith Cemetery.
