He was predeceased by: his son Fred Mayeaux, Jr.; his parents, Clemile Mayeaux and Della Mayeaux; his brothers, Lawrence Mayeaux and Harold Mayeaux; and his daughter-in-law Kim Guillot Mayeaux.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Dubrock Mayeaux; his daughter Brenda Lamartiniere (Landfried) of Fifth Ward, LA; his brother Carl Mayeaux (Ricky Mayeaux) of Avondale, LA; and his grandchildren, Brandon Lamartiniere, Bradley Lamartiniere and April Minyard Lacey (Ben). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
