He was predeceased by: his wife Pat. He is survived by: his brother Marvin Wilson (Laura) of Ringgold; his nephews, David Wilson (Lola) of Heflin and Greg Wilson (Diane) of Ringgold; his niece Molly Griffith (Luke); his sister Margie Carleton of Bossier City, LA; and his nieces and nephews, Kim Haskins (Kelly) of Bossier City and Karyn Flowers (Eric) of Bossier City. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rockett Funeral Home Chapel (2438 Military Rd, Ringgold, LA 71068). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
His remarkable contributions to the Louisiana Rodeo Cowboy Association were honored with induction into the Hall of Fame.
