She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Stapleton and Nolia Calhoun Stapleton; her husband Mickey Swett; her sister Dorothy Finley; and her close friend Lynette Maxwell.
She is survived by: her sons, James "Squeaky" Swett, Jr. and Duane Swett (Tammy); her siblings, Cheslie Stapleton, Gerry Stapleton (Linda), Billy Stapleton (Laverne), Danny Stapleton (Becky), Jimbo Stapleton, Bobby Gene Stapleton (Janette), Judy Ross (Gene) and Carol Hogg (Gary); her grandchildren, Shane Carpenter (Sativa), Bobby Swett (Chelsea), Michael Hogg (Brittany), John Paul Swett, Michael Swett (Jasmine), Josh Hogg (Elizabeth) and Megan Howard (Callie); her great grandchildren, MaKayla, McKenzie, Matthew, Kade, Kole, Maddie, Ryan (Donna), Brandon and Tucker; and her friends, Faye Sims and Sue Williams.
