She was predeceased by: her parents, Rene Gaspard, Sr. and Alite Hebert; and her siblings, Willie Mae LeBouef, Wilton, Dalton, Preston, Calvin and Rene Gaspard, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Todd R. Simon (Phylis) of Lafayette and Tammy Broussard (Leewood); and her grandchildren, Coy Simon (Danielle), Jade Simon and Austin Simon. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
