It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Williams Godwin of Hebert, Louisiana, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Godwin; her former husband Rudolph Williams; her daughter Mary Ann Kelly; her siblings, Charles McClanahan, Dan McClanahan, Isaac McClanahan, George McClanahan, Ouida McClanahan, Laura Bell Pardue and Annie Volois Goins; and her grandchildren, Thomas William Bamburg and Dallas Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Williams (JoeRenda) of Lafayette, LA and Sharon Foy (Buddy) of Grayson, LA; her stepchildren, John Godwin (Paula), Linda McClanahan, Norma Jean Harris (Haskell) and Janie Harris (Ricky); her grandchildren, Darren Williams, Danielle McClanahan, Misty Brien, Shayne Barnett, Raines Barnett, Chris Foy, Penny Williams, Lori Jean Harris, Wendy Tucker Harris, Amber Boykin, Rena Ryan and Johanna Mata Godwin; and her siblings, R. B. McClanahan, Gwen Brown, Vera Wood, Maxine Duchesne and Margie Roberts.
