It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Maurie Gentry (Haynesville, Louisiana), who passed away on October 6, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Kendrick and Clara Ware Kendrick; her brothers, Wayne "Cap" Kendrick and James "Sonny" Kendrick; and her daughter Rita Joyce Martinez of Abilene, TX..

She is survived by: her daughter Gloria Kay Maddick of Houston Texas; and her grandchildren, Kyle Tamez of Abilene Texas and Melinda Maddick Quijas of League City. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
