Linda Ruth Ware Bailey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Ruth Ware Bailey of Haynesville, Louisiana, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Ware and Irene Ware; her husband Daniel J. Bailey, Sr.; her children, Debra Renee Bailey and James Bailey; her sister Mary Frances Phillips (Sonny); her grandparents, Mac, Nettie Ware and John; her parents-in-law, Aquilla and Matilda Bailey; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Ware and Una Holt (Coy); and her nephews, Clint Phillips, Stacy Phillips, Kenny Ware and Wayne Sullivan.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel J. Bailey, Jr. (Gail) of Haynesville, Eddie Bailey (Brenda) of Haynesville, Donna Fox of Shreveport and Robert Bailey (Joyce); her daughter-in-law Marie Bailey of Haynesville; her siblings, Kenneth Ware of Shreveport and Norma Sullivan (Stanley) of Bernice; her nieces, Trina Lowery (Chuck), Debbie Shirey (George), Stephanie Rogers (Dustin) and Lisa Turnage (Bert); and her grandchildren, Trey Bailey, Michelle Young (Walt), Willie Bailey, Gabe Bailey (Alyssa), Jessica Glass (Scott), Marshall Bailey (Taylor), Jeff Bailey (Barbara), Brad Bailey (Lauren), Morgan Hebish (Gus), Parker Bailey (Amberly) and Micheal Fox (Meagan). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church in Haynesville or to St. Jude's Research Hospital.
