He was predeceased by: his parents, Hampton Harrison Branton and Ethel Davis Branton; his wife Shirley Branton; and his siblings, Orion Branton, Twyman Branton, Lester-Cleo and Joy Ann.

He is survived by: his children, Dennis Branton (Tina) and Candice Dennis (Gary); his grandchildren, Ginger Trampus (Andy), Stacy Crump (Misty), Tracy Crump, Chris Branton (Megan) and Tiffani Leonard (Wes); his great grandchildren, Hunter Tunnell (Luke), Landree Jones, Sailor Crump, Addison Branton, Ashton Branton and Kaylee Leonard; and his great great grandchild Liam Tunnell. He is also survived by his wife, children, friends and extended family.
