He was predeceased by: his mother Bessie Burkhart McCurry; his wife Bobbye Carolyn McCurry; his grandchildren, Ashton and John Bryant McCurry; and his sister Sherry McClure.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Shaddock (James) of Cotton Valley, Tim McCurry (Renee) of Haynesville and Marty McCurry (Angela) of Haynesville; his grandchildren, Dr. Misty Crump (Stacy), Lacy Youngblood, Whitney Roden (Chad) and Austin McCurry (Lindsay); his great grandchildren, Brennan Youngblood, Brant Youngblood, Briggs Youngblood, Sailor Crump and Callan Roden; his siblings, Jerry McCurry, Jeanette Bryant and Sal Files; and his grandmother Schmidt (Jo Jo Martin). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
