She was predeceased by: her husband Henry L. Thorpe, Sr.; her parents, John F. Shaw, Sr. and Nannie Lee Shaw; her brother John F. Shaw, Jr.; and her nephew John F. Shaw, III.
She is survived by: her son Henry L. Thorpe, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Kathleen; her grandchildren, Toni Palermo (Darren) of Clinton and Randy McMichael (Sara) of Minden; her great grandchildren, Katelin Palermo of Orlando, Allison Junkersfeld (Christopher) of Clinton and Jason Palermo of Salem; and her great great grandchild Piper Junkersfeld of Clinton. She is also survived by other relatives, and her loving and devoted friends.
