Barbara Jo Bailey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Jo Bailey of Haynesville, Louisiana, born in Haughton, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Joseph Pebworth and Nora Vesta Stewart Pebworth; her husband James Aubrey Bailey, Jr.; her sons, James Russell "Russ" Bailey and Joseph Michael "Mike" Bailey; her brother John Pebworth (Velda); and her close friend Molly Brown.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, April Childress (Justin) of Haynesville, Amber Goodwin (Cameron) of Haynesville, Aubrey Allen Bailey of Haynesville and David Bailey; her great grandchildren, Keegan Goodwin, Justin Michael Childress, Logan Childress, Rylie Van Hise, Harley-Jo Goodwin, Knox Goodwin, Clayton Bailey and Jessie Bailey; and her caregivers, B. J. Harris, Jennifer Franklin, Bro. Tim Cole, Dr. Clint Butler and Dr. Sam Abshire. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Haynesville Community Church (8179 LA-534, Haynesville, LA 71038). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be made to Haynesville Community Church.
