It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audra Laverne Phelps of Haynesville, Louisiana, born in Emerson, Arkansas, who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Georgia Bailey Baucum and Ben Baucum; her husband Nuel Dean Phelps; her son Claude Dean Phelps; and her granddaughter Ashley Brooke Phelps.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Millican (Sammy) of Emerson; her daughter-in-law Sheree Phelps of Shongaloo, LA; her grandchildren, Stacie Griffin (Ken) of Camden, AR, Leslie Millican of Magnolia, AR and Nick Phelps of Louisiana; her great grandchildren, Abby and Anna Grace Griffin of Camden, AR; her sister Mary Lynn Whitley (Byron) of Haynesville; her siblings-in-law, John Phelps of Jackson, MS, Bobby Phelps (Karan) of North Carolina and Virginia Baucum of Texas; and her daughters-in-law, Butler and Abshire. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
