He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Velma Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Beth Langford; his sons, Jeff (Sheila) of Sarepta, David (Jennifer) of Haynesville and Tommy (Jeni) of Sterlington; and his grandchildren, Macy Garner (Jamey) of Sarepta, Trent Franklin of Haynesville, Erin Franklin of Bossier City, Caroline Franklin of Sarepta, Hayden Franklin of Sterlington, Toby Franklin of Haynesville and Blake Franklin of Sterlington.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (2021 Main St, Haynesville, LA 71038). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Haynesville Golden Tornado Quarterback Club (P. O. Box 541, Haynesville, LA 71038) or the First Baptist Church Children's Playground Fund (2021 Main St., Haynesville, LA 71038).
