He was predeceased by: his parents, Orelian Bourgeois and Elia Mae Gashette Bourgeois; and his siblings, Mable Fletcher, Gertrude Bourgeois, Nelson Bourgeois and Wilford Bourgeois.
He is survived by: his brother Julius Paul Bourgeois (Betty) of Iowa; and also Shelia White of Hayes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
