He was predeceased by: his parents, Anne Jeffery Davis and Walter Davis, Sr.; his son Kenneth Davis; and his siblings, Joe Love and Dickie.

He is survived by: his granddaughters, Nina and Brenda; his wife Shirley Davis; his children, Wallace Davis (Janice), Nina Davis Taylor (Wayne) and Brenda Davis Lites (Danny); his grandchildren, Shawn Nicholas Davis, Heather Marie Davis Odom, Erin Colleen Davis Guy, Wesley Scott Lites, Danielle Shea Lites Bernadas and Cassandra Leigh Lites (Cassi); his great grandchildren, Ryan Odom (Andrew), Jeremiah Matthew Odom, Amelia Marie Odom, Theodore Harris Bernadas (Teddy), Josephine Elizabeth Bernadas, Elijah Carter Lites, Lachlan Ulysses Guy and Adelaide Rose Guy; and his siblings, Walter Davis, Jr., Oletta Robinette and Juanita DeBrodie (Lou).
