She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Carl D. Cason and Katherine M. Cason; her brother Dr. David Cason; and her nephew Buck Cason. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Eddie Lorane Moore; her children, Roy Cason Moore (Carly) and Dr. Makensie Ruth Moore Sonnier (BJ); her grandchildren, Ruth Annalyn Sonnier, Belton Joseph Sonnier IV, Cypress Elayne Moore, Aaron Roy Moore and Prairie Makensie Moore; her siblings, Dr. Daniel Cason, Jimmy Cason (Carola) and Karen Jones (Brian); and her close friend Linda Gilmore.
