He is survived by: his wife Nancy Nell Twilligear (Soileau); his son Steven Joseph Twilligear; his granddaughter Tisha Shoemate-Aguilar; his sons, Paul Douglas Twilligear (Cindy) of Colfax, LA and Michael Wayne Twilligear of Colfax, LA; and his grandchildren, John Paul Scott (Vanessa) of Elm Grove, LA, Hannah Ramsey (Dylan) of Jacksonville, NC and Brianna Twilligear of Jacksonville, NC. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
