He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Brinker and Donald Brinker, Sr.; his wife Christi; his daughters, Alison Peterson (Erik) and Meredith Elrod; his stepsons, Jason Bloxom (Lindsey) and Ryan Bloxom (Candi); his grandchildren, Kaden, Keaton Peterson, Brennon, Grayson, Austin Bloxom, Ben and Ava Bloxom; his brothers, Donald Brinker Jr. (Lulu) and Robert Brinker (Teresa); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Mitchell (Steve) and Russell Stroud (Debbie).
Due to COVID, a private, family service will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton on Sunday, January 31st, at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rick's memory to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
