She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas McDowell and Louella McDowell; her husband Hartwell J. Alison, Jr.; her son Richard Alison; and her sister Margaret Bond.
She is survived by: her son Rory Alison (Vicky); and her grandchildren, Bronwyn Wilkerson (Gene), Kriston Ballard (Jason), Kaitlin O'Bier (A. J.) and Jacob Alison (Skyler). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cypress Baptist Church, Alzheimer's Association, or to the charity of choice.
