He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Moon and Marjorie S. Moon; and his brothers, Jesse and Benjamin Moon. He is survived by: his sons, Air Conditioning and South; his wife Ruth Ann Hayes Moon; his children, Thomas Moon (Elizabeth) and Devota (Charles); and his grandchildren, Jacki Hepp, Taylor Goff (Judah), Jonathan, Joseph Eubanks, Josh Cooksey and Farron Cooksey.
