He is survived by: his wife Janice S. Shoemake; his children, Marvin D. "Rusty" Shoemake, Jr. (Mary Jo) and Cheryl Frazier (Dave); his grandsons, Gregory Shoemake, Colin Shoemake and Jason Arnold (Christina); and his great grandchild MaKayla Gwen Smith.
