It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Bird of Haughton, Louisiana, who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Troy Anthony Dews; her parents, Minnie and Arthur; and her brothers, Dick, Bob and Ronnie.

She is survived by: her husband Shelton L Bird of Haughton; her sons, William Dews (Sandra) of Bossier City and Joseph Dews (Leslie) of Shreveport; her grandsons, Andrew and Anthony; her great grandchild Damien; her stepgrandsons, Michael and Steven (Beth); and also, Wyatt and Cooper. She is also survived by brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws and step-brothers and step-sisters as well as countless nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
