She was predeceased by: her husbands, Marvin Ringgold and George McLemore; and her siblings, Carl Colvin, Jr., Billye Wyatt, Carol J. Gordon and Johanna Emert.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Ringgold (Jo), Donna Mock (Gene) and Sandra Hendrickson (Jason); her stepchildren, Robert Ringgold, Johnny Ringgold, Marvin Curtis Ringgold, Jerry McLemore, William McLemore, George McLemore, Phyllis Dublin, Rhonda Cottingham and Nancy Lyles; her grandchildren, Dustin Mock, Dylan Mock, Lynda Nagot, DeeJay Swaney, Zachary Swaney (Chelsie), Jacob Hendrickson, Stephanie Ringgold, Shawn Ringgold, Jeremy Jones, Johnathan Jones and Jennifer Adorno; her sister Henrietta Morgan (Donnie); and her niece Cheryl McEntryre. She is also survived by step- grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made in Mrs. McLemore's name to the Youth or building fund of Beulah Land Baptist Church at 3179 Sligo Road, Haughton, LA 71037 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
