She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Cook and Louise Dodez Cook; her husband Russell Juhl; her daughter Ann Strong; and her siblings, Byron "Sonny" Cook, Jr., Alice VanAlstyne and Jerry Cook.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jan Strong and Addie Elliott; her grandchildren, Lisa Pehrson, Lara Lenore, Andrea Michels (Kevin) and Micah Tietz; her siblings, Louis Cook and Donna Bass; her close friend Diane Marlowe; and her caregivers, Theresa Wilson, Laurie, Evelyne Porter, Cindy Beshea, Jim Davis, Yolanda Taylor and Cindy Glover. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hill Crest Memorial Chapel (601 US-80, Haughton, LA 71037). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
