It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Juanita Estelle Faulkner Meek (Haughton, Louisiana), born in Bennington, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 24, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cephus Monroe and Ethel Hardisty Faulkner; her husband Garland Jesse Meek; and her siblings, Monroe Faulkner, Sylvia Kathryn Faulkner, Amy Jalaska Faulkner, Marvin Hugh Faulkner, Jarvis Wendell Faulkner and Curtis Bryant Faulkner.

She is survived by: her aunt Mary Lou Davis May; her children, James (Vickie Meek) of Bossier City, LA, Mary (Wayne Corley) of Lone Star, TX, Lydia Meek of Bossier City, LA, David (Connie Meek) of Haughton, LA, Jesse Meek of Bossier City, LA and Jon (Dennise Meek) of Carthage, TX.; her grandchildren, Justin (Jamie Meek) of Stonewall, LA, Dawn (Cody White) of Bossier City, LA, Deidra (Matt Horn) of Tyler, TX, Jordan Meek of Carthage, TX and Jason Meek of Carthage, TX.; her great grandchildren, Emma, Kaden Meek of Stonewall, LA, Della, Harper and Leighanna White of Bossier City, LA.; her siblings, Kenneth (Ellyn Faulkner) of Clovis, CA, Donald Faulkner of Stroud, OK, Wanda Lois Godfrey of Visalia, CA, Beverly Faulkner of Visalia, CA and Carroll Lee Faulkner of Farmersville, CA; and also Lora Meek. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

In light of her love for all children the family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to either Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe Louisiana or Pleasant Hills Children's Home in Fairfield Texas.
