He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd E. Farnam and Margaret Knight Farnam; his brothers, Kenneth E. Farnam and Donald E. Farnam; and his nieces, Karen, Donna Marie and Carol.

He is survived by: his wife Linda S. Farnam; his sons, James M. Farnam, Sr. and Robert Lloyd Farnam (Robert W. Graves); his grandchildren, James M. Farnam, Jr. (Miranda), Melissa Farnam Newman (Jeff), Harrison Ridge Farnam and Robert Noah Farnam; and his great grandchildren, James Wade Farnam, Layla Kaye Farnam, Davis Asher Newman and Everett Ace Newman. He is also survived by 8 nieces, 5 nephews, 14 great nieces and 10 great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Benton United Methodist Building Fund would be appreciated.

“I am so sorry for your Loss and my prayers are with the Farnam Family. My mother, Bobbie Farnam Wright was Jame's 1st cousin. Uncle Lloyd and Aunt Margaret, Jame's parents lived 3 houses down from us in Moore Haven, Fl. when I was growing up. My mother was born in 1927 to Robert Carl and Minnie Farnam which was Lloyd's brother so I'm sure they grew up at least a few years together. May God give the family peace! Pandora Wright Farrell”
